North Carolina judge breaks the news by giving Andrew Young until Wednesday to turn over John Edwards videotape.

Andrew Young claims that he has a videotape unveiling John Edwards and former mistress Rielle Hunter. The alleged tape shows Edwards and Hunter participating in a private encounter. Although he doesn't claim Hunter as being the woman in the video, the woman is wearing a ring similar to one Hunter has.

Now things are really getting bizarre. A North Carolina judge has found him in contempt for failing to turn over the alleged tape. Young is a former aide to Edwards and the author of the new book "The Politician." He has until Wednesday to turn over the tape.

Superior Court Judge Abraham Penn Jones reprimanded Young in a court hearing Friday but declined to put him in custody. The contempt ruling will be lifted if he turns over a videotape "of a personal nature" and other items by Wednesday. Young says he will comply with the court.

"These items are to be produced and turned over to the court," Jones said. "The court will put them under lock and key, and under seal, until the lawsuit is resolved."

Rielle Hunter Wins Temporary Restraining Order

Rielle Hunter won a temporary restraining order against Young that sought the return of the tape recorded in 2006. However, when sheriff deputies went to retrieve the item, his attorney declined to release it. Hunter also filed a lawsuit accusing him of invasion of privacy.

In his book, Young writes about the videotape that showed Edwards and a visibly-pregnant woman. The woman is presumed to be Hunter conducting what he called were private "acts." He found the tape in the trash but was able to repair it.
