2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD - This model will be appearing in dealerships later this year and you will see a few modifications from the 2011 version. However, the Chevy Silverado has been named Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year three times and Car and Driver Magazine’s Best Pickup Truck three times. It recently achieved distinction as the International Car of the Year by Road and Travel Magazine.
2012 Toyota Tundra - With prices for the Double Cab models at around $27,600 on the V-6 engine and $38,000 with the 5.7 V-8, the Tundra is a great option. They also have a 4.6-liter V-8 for around $30,500.
2012 Dodge Dakota Pickup Truck - Dodge aims to make the truck more appealing to casual truck users who would prefer improved mileage and car-like handling characteristics. This is what some people want in a pickup. The vehicle is built around lifestyles.
There will be more trucks announced in August as they come to market. What you can expect is better fuel efficiency. It will be interesting to see how many of these will turn into hybrids.
