Nissan has issued a recall for more than 540,000 vehicles due to brake problems and fuel gauges. There are no reported accidents or injuries caused by the d The automaker has looked into the problem and believes that the problem is due to a manufacturing error caused by a supplier.

Quest Minivans

The recalls include pickup trucks, sport utility vehicles and minivans. Most of the recalled vehicles are in the United States. A pin in the pedal can come loose and cause reduced braking force. Customers with brake pedal issues should contact their local dealer.
In addition, vehicle owners will be notified when to bring their cars and trucks in for repairs. In materials distributed to dealers, Nissan said the brake pedal fix will begin on March 22. The fuel-gauge fix will take place on March 22 and in April.
Automaker Reports Big February Sales
Nissan Motors said that U.S. February sales rose 29.4 percent to 70,189 vehicles from 54,249 a year ago. Total car sales in the United States for the month increased 39.2 percent to units. Truck sales rose 11.1 percent to 20,955 units.
Micra Compact Car Rolls Out
Nissan is rolling out a new vehicle known as the “Micra.” The vehicle was shown at the Geneva International Motor Show. The automaker will release three models of the global compact car.
Micra’s new engine will emit 115 grams of CO2. Company officials have been saying that the car to be rolled out from the automaker’s Indian plant. India is one of the four locations from where Nissan will roll out Micra for the global market.
