The Democrats headed into the Mississippi primary Tuesday before their bigger contest in Pennsylvania in six weeks. As Mississippi heads to the polls, Democrat Barack Obama attacked Hillary Clinton on her foreign policy boasts.

The former first lady firmly claims she had a direct role in managing crises during her husband's 1990s administration.

"Barack Obama does not use false charges and exaggerated claims to play politics with national security," Obama spokesman Bill Burton said.

However, while Clinton was campaigning in Pennsylvania, she pointed to her credentials again for the Oval Office and her lifetime's political experience alongside former president Bill Clinton.

"The true test comes when it's time to match rhetoric with results," Clinton said in a speech in Harrisburg. "And unfortunately, we've seen that Senator Obama's promises and speeches are often just words."

On Monday Obama accused the Clintons of trying to "hoodwink" voters with their talk of a dream ticket led by the New York senator.

Barack Obama leads by 100 delegates after 45 Democratic contests.
