What is the NewsOXY Web Crawler?

The NewsOXY web crawler is a Bot that scans the Internet for content, such as news articles, images, and links. The content is then added to our search index. The Bot is also compatible with RSS 2.0 and ATOM 1.0 feeds.

Most of our pages will list news articles by default. The articles are ranked by popular news, content, and score quality. One of the best ways to ensure that NewsOXY indexes your website is to include valuable content that our readers want to link to. Our Bot complies with the "robots.txt" rules and policies.

While NewsOXY crawls billions of webpages, not every webpage is indexed. For a website to be indexed, it must meet specific standards for content, design, and technical implementation. We also have quality guidelines. For example, if your website's link structure doesn't include links to each webpage, NewsOXY might not find all the content on your website.

Ranking is determined by many factors. Your website must meet quality standards for search engine inclusion. For example, if your webpage contains several pop-up advertisements that could annoy users, it will not be indexed. We do this on a page-per-page basis.
