Passengers reported to the AirTran flight crew that they heard inappropriate comments allegedly made onboard. The AirTran staff notified federal air marshals onboard which contracted local and federal law enforcement. A family of nine people was taken into custody for questioning.

The two mobile phone companies battle it out over employees where RIM accuses Motorola of unfair competition practices. Motorola said the BlackBerry maker violated a previous court agreement where the two mobile phone companies would not solicit their employees.
