Apple iPhone 5 release date slated for June 2011 'Summer' Verizon. Apple iPhone 5 just might have a release date sooner than predicted. The mobile device, now sold by AT&T and Verizon Wireless, could come as early as June of this year.

iPhone 5 is among a lot of rumors and speculations, but it's probably safe to say that the mobile gadget will debut in 2011. Version 4 brought a lot of early problems after its release, but Apple is ready to put that behind them. In other words, the new smartphone is going to fix all problems and will offer next-generation features.

Verizon customers have become extremely excited about purchasing an iPhone this February. Some reports suggest that the iPhone 5 will make its debut next month, but if you know Apple, they usually release big products in the summer months. Some mobile customers are going for early termination fees with AT&T, but it's not easy as one may think.

AT&T recently raised their fees for customers wanting to terminate their contracts early. The current cost to make the switch is running at $325. That means you will have to pay AT&T before you get can make the switch to Verizon.
