​Gas Price Predicted To Drop Below $3

Many Florida residents are taking advantage of the falling gas prices, as they haven’t seen prices like this is a while. However, many experts feel that the price of gas will continue to drop as low as $3 a gallon this summer.

Gas prices are finally heading in the right direction. Industry experts are predicting gas prices to keep falling through the Summer. By Thanksgiving, the countrywide average should drop below $3 per gallon.

According to Time Magazine, the national average for gas as of June 22 was $3.45 per gallon, and the prices were even lower in the southern region of the U.S. In Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, the average price per gallon was $3.30.

The least-expensive place to fill your tank is South Carolina, where regular gas is $3.04 per gallon. On the other hand, California, is the most expense place to fill up, their average is $3.93 a gallon.

According to the USA Today, on a national average, in the last three months, gas prices have decreased 50 cents. In addition, they estimate that it will decrease by another 50 cents by the time that Christmas rolls around.

Tom Kloza of the Oil Price Information Service, said: “The market is suggesting gas below $3 by Halloween, and certainly by Thanksgiving.”
