The iPhone 5 could be launched in October. There has been a lot of speculation on when Apple will ship the iPhone 5. It’s pretty easy to suspect that the mobile device will arrive in October.
This can only mean that Apple fans will have the new model in time for the World Series in baseball. There is also talk of a new iOS 5 and how AT&T is working on plans to handle 4G traffic. The iPhone 5 is probably the most anticipated launch yet and October is only a couple months away.
There are reports that AT&T has banned employee vacations during the last two weeks of September in preparation for a launch. The company has not deny the report, but is quiet on the vacation policies for employees working on the launch. However, there are many who are likely rolling their eyes at iPhone launch date reports.
It is the single most important launch of the mobile world in 2011. It’s been about 18 months since it released the 4G model, although that still uses the 3G network with AT&T.And during that period, Android became the most widely used mobile operating system in the United States.
However, the growth hasn’t had any impact on the iPhone, but it will be interesting to see how Android vendors respond to the new version of Apple’s mobile device. Steve Jobs told investors earlier this year that the competition will be “toast,” but he stopped short on specific details.By: John Lester
