Facebook users and fans create webpage suggesting who should host the next Saturday Night Live television show on NBC.

Betty White has always had a huge fan base. She started out in the Mary Tyler Moore show and became a huge sensation when she appeared on the Golden Girls television series. There's nobody else like the actress, now everybody wants her to host 'SNL' after creating a Facebook page.

David Mathews, creator of the Facebook Fan Page, dispatched a letter to Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels. The letter was sent at the end of January. The fan page at the time reached 5,000 followers.

"My ask of you is simple," Mathews wrote to Michaels. "What would it take to get you to invite Betty White to be a guest host on SNL? She is brilliant, funny, witty, and a comedic genius and legend. I have little doubt that it would be a ratings hit."

White, 88, now has a fan page that grew to more than 105,000 followers. The page title reads "Betty White to Host SNL (please?)!" as it continues to grow. What's also interesting is that Betty has a broad audience from children to adults.

There's not too many Hollywood icons that can draw similar demographics as White. She is loved by kids as much as she is loved by adults. Moreover, she is special, her fans know it.

Super Bowl Snickers Commercial

The Snickers Super Bowl 2010 commercial was a classic comedy feature. The spot starred the actress and Abe Vigoda. The two veteran TV stars showed that they still have what it takes to make people laugh, of all ages.

The two are shown getting tackled hard while playing a pickup football game with much younger men in a public park. The commercial is classic. Vigoda played a veteran sad faced cop in "Barney Miller" and "Fish."
