Britain's Next Top Model premieres this summer with Elle MacPherson as host and executive producer.

Elle MacPherson has landed a new job as the host of Britain's Next Top Model. MacPherson's lingerie line was previously featured in photo shoots for the TV show. She will also serve as an executive producer on the show.

"I am really enthusiastic and motivated to work with the team of Britain's Next Top Model," she said in a statement. "We are looking forward to finding the face that can represent the next generation."

The Australian beauty has agreed to front the sixth series of the TV show. The show follows 25 aspiring beauties competing for the crown. Elle earned the nickname "The Body" during her time as catwalk queen.

Lisa Butcher hosted the first series of the popular TV show. Lisa Snowdon, George Clooney's ex-girlfriend, took over as host. She left to focus on her radio career.

Televised Fashion Catfights On The Catwalk

Macpherson and a team of judges will eliminate one contestant each week. The winner will be awarded a contract with agency Models 1 and a cover spread for glossy magazine Company. The series pits fashion beauties against one another, with glamorous photo shoots and "catfights on the catwalk" are promised.
