Adele To Make Live Comeback At Grammys
Since having to cancel tour dates and performances to take time off because of having surgery to correct vocal chord problems, singer Adele will make her live comeback at next months Grammy Awards show.
She announced the news on her Twitter account by tweeting, “Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx.”
She said of her up coming return that she “can’t wait.”
After problems arose with her vocal chords that could have permanently destroyed her singing career, she had throat surgery to correct a hemorrhage, in the U.S. last November.
Not only will she make her comeback at the Grammies but she will also be hoping to bring home some hardware as she has been nominated in 6 categories. In 2009 Adele was awarded 2 Grammies for ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.’
Billboard named her ‘Artist of the Year’, also naming her ’21′ album ‘Album of the Year’ along with her single ‘Rolling in the Deep’ being named the Hot 100 ‘Song of the Year’.
A week after the Grammy performance, she is scheduled to perform at the Brit Awards.
