Amber Rose has proven to Wiz Khalifa that she is ready to tie the knot by showing her love with a tattoo. However, some people are scratching their heads over the permanent tattoo of Wiz.
Even so, the model showed off the ink on Instagram, unveiling the duplication of her boyfriend’s bright, smiling face on her arm.
Rose wasn’t content to just get one new piece of body art — she also got a new tat of her mother, Dorothy. “Throwback of my Mommy Ms Dottie,” she wrote.
Might Rose’s own budding family show the same dedication in the future?
In February, the two gave birth to their first child, son Sebastian Taylor.
Wiz, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, said his stage name is derived from Khalifa, an Arabic word meaning “successor,” and wisdom, which was shortened to Wiz when Khalifa was a young boy.
Khalifa stated that the name also came from being called “young Wiz ’cause I was good at everything I did, and my granddad is Muslim, so he gave me that name; he felt like that’s what I was doing with my music.”
He got a tattoo of his stage name on his 17th birthday. He cites Jimi Hendrix, Camp Lo, The Notorious B.I.G. and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony as musical influences.
Rose was in a relationship with rapper Kanye West from 2008 until August 2010. She started dating rapper Wiz Khalifa in early 2011. The couple became engaged on March 1, 2012.
