American Idol Season 10 Recap Of San Francisco Auditions - Episode 7. American Idol is already going through much of Season 10, but the audtions continue. Judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler give Hollywood passes while saying goodbye to other contestants.

Ukraine-born, belly-dancing Inessa Lee who insisted the judges missed out on the best thing in Hollywood when they showed her to the door. But all agreed that while she filled the room with cuteness and youth, she came up short on melody and voice. She didn’t set the tone for the night though — a stream of yeses quickly followed.

Then a streak of performers put Steven Tyler in a bad mood. First, Dave Combs butchered Beatles attempt sent Steven into a mini-flip out. “Do you see … what’s on … my shirt?” Rick Deschamp didn’t improve things: “Dude - did you hit your head on the way in here?” Sabrina Corbett inspired: “you outta be arrested for that voice.”

California’s James Durbin, who lost his musician dad to a drug overdose at age nine, found solace later in life with a girl named Heidi, his tiny baby and his music. He has tourette’s syndrome that stops when he sings. So he sings! He could have been Steven himself belting out “Dream On” - high notes and all. A new bar might just have been set.
