Amy Locane Bovenizer Not Guilty Plea To Aggravated Manslaughter

Amy Locane Bovenizer not guilty plea to aggravated manslaughter. Amy Locane Bovenizer enters a not guilty plea to charges. The “Melrose Place” actress is facing charges aggravated manslaughter stemming from a fatal car crash in New Jersey last year.

Locane-Bovenizer, 39, also faces assault by auto. Somerset County prosecutors say the actress’ SUV hit a car driven by Fred Seeman of Montgomery. The incident occurred as he was turning into his driveway on June 27, 2010.

Seeman’s wife, Helene, was killed and the incident left him with serious injuries. Police said officers arrested Locane-Bovenizer after detecting alcohol on her breath. Her lawyer, Blair Zwillman, said that his client is seeking to have the indictment dismissed.

She remains free on $50,000 bail. Locane-Bovenizer played Sandy Louise Harling on the first season of “Melrose Place” in 1992. We’ll keep you informed on what happens with the case.
