Angelique Cabral made it official with boyfriend Jason Osborn on July 20, and the wedding secret is out. Cabral married Osborn in Carmel, California, at the Holman Ranch.
“The day was perfect in every way!! It better have been–since we had a year-and-a-half engagement to plan every detail,” the actress told E! News.
Cabral exchanged vows with her now-husband, a marketing director at POM Wonderful, while donning a Peter Langner dress and Betsy Johnson shoes.
The actress says, “We wanted our wedding to be fun, to show our personalities in every detail, and to surprise our guests so they never got bored! At every turn there was something fun: a s’mores bar, a scotch bar, homemade pies and ice cream, a photo booth, hay bales to sit on!”
And she credits online website Etsy for a majority of its success. “Jason and I love the little touches that make an event memorable, and we did that with burlap signs hanging everywhere, rustic chalk boards, wildflowers–and ETSY!!! ETSY saved my life!!! I got everything off ETSY!!!”
“At the end of the night, everyone was on the dance floor and wanted more. We were singing and laughing, no one wanted the night to end–that’s the sign of a good party!”
After celebrating with friends and family, the couple then visited Big Sur’s Post Ranch Inn.
The Hawaiian-born actress will appear in Fox’s upcoming comedy “Enlisted” which is scheduled to premiere in late fall as part of the 2013-2014 television season. Cabral has also appeared in TV series such as “Devious Maids,” “Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23,” and “Happy Endings,” among others.
A frequent Twitter user, the 34-year-old actress thanked TV Guide and other followers for their congratulations over the wedding news.
“Check out this article about my wedding!!! Xoxo,” Cabral later added. “#luckyinlove”
Meanwhile, Cabral was not the only star to wed recently. Supermodel and occasional actress Elle McPherson reportedly tied the knot with billionaire Jeffrey Soffer over the weekend.
The 49-year-old Australian beauty and the real estate tycoon exchanged vows in Fiji, according to Us Weekly.
Though details are scarce, close friends and family were reportedly in attendance. The couple had been together for three years before Soffer’s marriage proposal in March.
