Anne Hathaway and her longtime stylist, Rachel Zoe, have parted ways, a source revealed on Jan. 29. Zoe outfitted the actress on the red carpet for 10 years, but now she is working with veteran stylist Penny Lovell, who also dresses Rose Byrne.
Hathaway reportedly turned to Lovell before the 2014 Sundance Film Festival earlier this month.
“There is no bad blood between Anne and Rachel, and in fact the door is always open for them to work [together] again,” an insider explains to Us. “It’s just that Anne is looking to try new things, and she loves Penny’s work. It’s nothing dramatic.”
Hathaway hasn’t had many big red carpet moments since last year’s Oscars, where she got into a bit of dress drama with Amanda Seyfried.
However, she’s starting to make the rounds again to promote her new movie Song One, and she also has a role in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Interstellar.
While in the past she has gravitated toward very feminine, structured looks, her style at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, was decidedly more understated and androgynous.
At the premiere of Song One, for example, she rocked a baggy, forest-green pantsuit with black leather motorcycle boots. On another day, she wore tattered jeans and and oversized Givenchy sweatshirt.
