Hulk Hogan told wrestling fans on Twitter that he’s feeling better and is hoping to go home during the next 48 hours. Hogan is in the hospital for excruciating back pain, but he’s off the medications. Wrestling celebrity and reality TV star Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, was hospitalized on Sept. 5 and is joking that the room is for “old timers.”
Hogan, 57, surprised everyone after posting a short video of himself and his wife. The Hulkster explained that he was taken to the hospital by ambulance after complaining of “excruciating back pain.” The pro-wrestler also explained that he is suffering from all the years in the ring.
In fact, he did not appear at the “No Surrender” pay-per-view on Sunday night. He currently works for TNA, and it’s doubtful that he will be at any of the group’s television tapings this week. Hogan has already had two surgeries this year.
The pro-wrestler said the trip to the ER wasn’t surgery-related, and was hopeful that the physicians could “give me something to calm this down.” He also says that when he gets back on his feet, he’s going to “get real dangerous.” We don’t know if this is against doctor’s orders or not, but he is optimistic.
