Bethenny Frankel, who has her own reality show that follows her marriage to Jason Hoppy called “Bethenny Ever After” may not end happily ever after because there are new reports that suggest the short two-year marriage is now on the rocks.
Frankel herself recently admitted that the marriage is harder than she thought it would be. “We’re off course,” Frankel said about her marriage in a clip obtained by RadarOnline.com, where Frankel reveals that her and Hoppy are having marital issues in an upcoming episode of the reality show.
As the two are seen on their way to marriage counseling, Frankel adds, “That’s what we’re doing in our lives: we keep having the same argument over and over again,” said Frankel. “Jason thinks that it is a metaphor for the fact that we keep going around in circles in our relationship that we keep having the same argument over and over again.”
Last week Frankel also told Jay Leno, “[The] second year was way more difficult than the first, I was pregnant when I got married, so we were all excited about the baby and the wedding.”
But reality set in and Frankel explained she may be to blame, “I’m an initiator of arguments and he’s the escalator,” she said. “I’ll light that fire, and then there’s a big fire and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, who put that fire there, what happened?'”
Although the couple is having their troubles, Hoppy himself believes they will work through their issues. “Where do I want to be in 10 years? Married to her. Whether she believes it or not,” he says.
