Betty White says she’s only getting sexier with age and with so many shows on prime time TV, it’s hard not to find her on a channel. The “Golden Girls” star had a few words to say during her “2nd Annual 90th Birthday Special,” which aired on NBC.
“Best thing about being in your 90s is you’re spoiled rotten,” she was quoted. “Everybody spoils you like mad and they treat you with such respect because you’re old. Little do they know, you haven’t changed. You haven’t changed in [the brain]. You’re just 90 every place else.”
“Now that I’m 91, as opposed to being 90, I’m much wiser,” White continued. “I’m much more aware and I’m much sexier.”
White attracted a lot of fun during her birthday special, with one surprise coming from President Bill Clinton, who made an announcement via video message about the perfect 2016 presidential candidate.
Yes, he has chosen the “Hot In Cleveland” actress.
“In a time when our nation is still bitterly divided, it’s important to have a leader who’s won the respect and affection of our nation in the way that Betty has,” Clinton said. “After all, she’s gained praise all the way from President Obama to George W. Of course I’m talking about Presidents Barack Obama and George Washington.”
Actress Lily Tomlin also had nothing but warm words and praise for the last-standing original “Golden Girl.” “The issue of her being 91 doesn’t exist for me,” Tomlin said in a video message for White’s birthday. “I don’t think of it, I can’t imagine that she’s 91. It just doesn’t compute. To me, Betty is ageless. She could be as young as 30, I don’t know how old she is. She’s a puzzle and a miracle.”
White has attracted all ages and has maintained a very active work schedule.
