Bill Murray doesn’t like the Ghostbusters 3 script, but Dan Aykroyd is moving ahead with the film and it looks like some big changes are coming for the cast.
Is it true? Well, not according to Empire Magazine, who interviewed Aykroyd about Ghostbusters 3.
The person conducting the interview asked the actor about a National Enquirer report that stated Murray went ahead and put the script Aykroyd sent him into a shredder because he disliked it and about the rumors of Aykroyd being so upset at what Murray did that he was going forward with the movie without him.
“Bill Murray is not capable of such behavior,” stated Akroyd. “This is simply something that would not be in his nature. We have a deep, private personal relationship that transcends business. We communicate frequently and his position on the involvement in “Ghostbusters 3″ has been made clear, and I respect that. But, Bill has too much positive estimation of my writing skills to shred the work.”
Aykroyd was also asked about another actor’s participation in the third movie that was a part of the first two.
“If we can get the script to ‘Ghostbusters 3,’ right, then it would definitely have (Rick) Moranis as a major component. None of us would want to do the movie without having him as a participant,” Aykroyd said.
