According to witnessess at the same party, Swetra made comments about the level of Huerta’s intoxicated state which caused the actress to fly off the handle.

The District Attorney in Manhattan charged Huerta with 5 misdemeanors including two counts of 3rd degree assault, 4th degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted assault, and harassment.

The actress is not even allowed to make contact with Huerta on Twitter or Facebook. It’s been forbidden because of a restraining order. This will make things difficult if the two ever have to attend an awards show.

Swetra and her lawyers are claiming that she is still experimenting pain and some of the damage may be permanent. They are suing Huerta for an undisclosed amount. Rumors suggest that the amount could be anywhere from $200,000 to $1 million.
