Bobbi Kristina, the daughter and primary caretaker of Whitney Houston, was taken to the hospital on Sunday morning after a meltdown at the hotel where her mother was found dead Saturday.
Apparently, a distraught Bobbi Kristina tried to gain access to the Beverly Hilton room were Houston was found. A source tells, People, she wanted to get to her mother’s room Saturday, and when she was denied she became angry with police and started shouting at them. TMZ is reporting that Bobbi Kristina was screaming, cursing and demanding to see her mother.
Subsequently, on Sunday morning, she was then taken out of the hotel on a stretcher and transported to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where had been said she was receiving treatment for stress. She was released later in the day.
“Her life will be shattered,” a source told US Weekly on Saturday. “Bobbi was always by [Whitney’s] side in everything she did.”
US Weekly senior editor Ian Drew, speaking to ABC News said of the 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina that she, “basically grew up her mother’s caretaker …. In a way she was the adult in relationship.”
Kristina Brown is the only child of singer Bobyi Brown and Whitney Houston who were married for 15 years between 1992 and 2007.
