Amanda Bynes reportedly suffering from an eating disorder and is having a hard time staying thin, but Bynes is also threatening to sue blogs for stating that she has a mental disorder that has nothing to do with eating.
“They take pictures anytime I’ve gained weight then write a fake story,” she wrote on twitter, adding, “I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.”
However, most stories lately have mentioned anything but her weight, choosing instead to focus on tidbits like the once-blond 27-year-old’s insistence that she had a redheaded imposter wandering around New York pretending to be her, wearing her same glasses and cheek piercings, with blond showing through the red dye job.
The “retired” actress also threatened to take pictures from writers’ Twitter feeds and post them every time a story is written about her.
“I’m putting a photo up of everyone writing articles about me from now on,” she wrote. “I ask you to choose photos from my twitter so I’ll do the same.”
How she’s going to track down those articles remains a bit of a mystery, as she claims she doesn’t look at ’em.
“I don’t read articles written about me unless I give an interview for a magazine. They’re fake! Don’t trust what u read on sites!”
Bynes is correct though, there are sites out there that do write fake stories to draw attention so that they can drive traffic, but it’s difficult to take her seriously at times.
