Catherine Zeta-Jones walked her first red carpet premiere event since completing a treatment program for Bipolar II disorder. Zeta-Jones turned heads in a black slinky gown Thursday night, looking healthier and happier than ever.

The “Chicago” star wore a strapless black Maria Lucia Hogan lace gown — which showed off her stems with a high slit.

The actress attended the Los Angeles premiere alone, telling reporters that husband Michael Douglas couldn’t make it because he is filming his latest flick on the East Coast.

Zeta-Jones went solo to the event, telling reporters that her husband Michael Douglas is busy filming. She has refused to comment on the controversial comments Douglas made concerning oral sex and the cause of his cancer.

Previously, Douglas, 68, spoke proudly of his wife’s health progress.

“She’s doing a really good job of getting balanced,” he said in May. “I’m proud of her.”

The actress recently spoke again about her hard time dealing with Douglas’ cancer diagnosis in 2010 — but reportedly refused to comment on the controversial declaration Douglas made to the Guardian suggesting his cancer may have been contracted through oral sex.
