Carrie Prejean is getting married to NFL player Kyle Boller. The couple started dating last summer and living in San Diego. Boller is the quarterback for the St. Louis Rams.
Prejean, 22, began dating Boller, 28, last July in the midst of her beauty queen controversy. The controversy grew to anti-gay marriage and a Larry King interview that unveiled a videotape she made when she was 17. The tape was never released to the public.
Boller asked Prejean to marry him last Saturday. According to inside sources, the couple plan to marry within the next six months. In addition, Prejean is looking forward to moving on with her life and starting a family.
Boller signed with the St. Louis Rams in 2009. He was the backup to starting quarterback Marc Bulger. However, Bulger got injured and Boller saw action on September 27 against the Green Bay Packers. He passed for 164 yards, two touchdowns, an interception, and his team lost 36%u201317.
In Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, he threw an interception and fumbled once, both recovered by the 49ers and returned for touchdowns. However, he holds the title as the most games played as a Baltimore Ravens quarterback and most games started as a Baltimore Ravens quarterback. His NFL record isn’t much with the Rams, especially since he’s not the starting quarterback.
Carrie has been at the center of numerous controversies. It started with her statement against same-sex marriage at the Miss USA pageant. Soon after, private photos of her surfaced on the Internet.
As far as the tape, Prejean said it only involved her when she was 17, and one that never went public. It was a videotape she made for her former boyfriend. She said it was the biggest mistake she made in her life.
Anonymous sources claim the couple are in love and planning a wedding
Some reports indicate that the marriage proposal is just a public relations stunt. There has not been any official word about the couple from either Prejean or Boller. However, anonymous sources claim that the couple are in love and a wedding is being planned.
