Chelsea Handler Admits Abortion At 16 With No Regrets

Chelsea Handler got serious this week by telling Rosie O’Donnell during her show that she had an abortion when she was 16, even though she was ready to have a baby.

In addition, Chelsea Handler, 36, says that she was delusional and her parents forced her to have an abortion because it was best for her and the baby.

“I was so delusional,” she said. “I was like, ‘I’m ready for a baby.’”

But her parents disagreed, and she ended up getting an abortion.

“I was trying to argue with them and they were like, ‘You don’t understand,’” Handler explained to O’Donnell during the show on OWN TV.

“‘You’re throwing your entire life away. You’re not having a child right now. This is not what our family’s about. You know, you’re supposed to create a life for yourself, and we want you to enjoy your life and not be raising a child. And we’re certainly not going to raise it for you.’”

“I wouldn’t be a good mother,” she said, adding, “I have no regret at all,” Handler told O’Donnell.
