Chris Brown and Frank Ocean’s back and forth bickering escalated on Sunday night into a physical altercation. The “Turn Up the Music” artist could be facing charges for allegedly assaulting Ocean over a parking space at West Lake Studio in West Hollywood.
“He’s desirous of prosecution,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told the Daily News, referring to Ocean.
Though sources told TMZ that Brown had actually tried to shake Ocean’s hand and was attacked by a member of Ocean’s entourage first. That’s when a member of Brown’s crew allegedly took a hit at someone in Ocean’s group, TMZ reported.
When cops arrived at the scene, Brown was already gone; so they took Ocean’s statement.
Brown, 23, has one more year of probation left to serve from the 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, reports MTV. His brawl with Ocean, 25, could extend his probation time.
Neither of the two singers have made official statements about the altercation. However, they have both taken to Twitter to explain how they feel about the incident to their followers.
“Got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. I only wish everest was there,” he tweeted, referring to his Bernese Mountain Dog. “Cut my finger now I can’t play w two hands at the grammys.”
