Chris Klein jail time served for DUI. Chris Klein serves 4 days in jail for DUI and is on probation for four years, he also completed rehab. Klein’s DUI charge is from June 16, 2010.

Klein served 4 days in jail and he got 4 years probation for the. It’s the second DUI charge in five years. The American Pie actor also completed two months in rehab.

Jail isn’t where he wanted to be and he was hoping for a lighter sentence. Although Klein could have received a maximum penalty of one year in prison, the judge instead ordered him to enter a rehabilitation program. The actor also has to install a Breathalyzer interlock device on his car.

The judge’s leniency stemmed from Chris Klein’s decision to serve the jail time on his own volition. In fact, he did it all without a court order. In court, he stated, “I apologize for my wrongdoing, and I really appreciate that the court gave me the opportunity to prove how seriously I took all of this.”
