Chyna was hospitalized in a Miami Beach medical center for fainting spells as the former professional wrestler attended the 2012 Exxxotica Expo. Chyna, 41, was immediately taken to Mt. Sinai Medical Center for evaluation.
Apparently, this was not uncommon for the adult actress, who passed out two times during the days prior.
Chyna, whose real name is Joan Marie Laurer, was hospitalized, treated, and later released.
She was in attendance at the Expo to promote her adult movie parody of “The Avengers,” from Vivid Entertainment in which she plays “She Hulk.”
A Vivid Entertainment spokesmen stated that after being taken to the hospital she was recovering and feeling much better.
According to reports, her first known fainting spell happened on Thursday while she was attending a party at the Catalina Hotel. Apparently, other guests noticed that she began acting erratically and then passed out while in a pool. She recovered from this incident by resting it off in her room.
Some sources took the story a bit too far by stating that she died.
However, wrestler Mick Foley cleared up the false information, “Any rumor that I announced or confirmed the death of Chyna is false,” Foley tweeted.
“I heard that she collapsed at a convention, but is resting at her hotel,” he wrote on Twitter.
