Colt McCoy, quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, asked Rachel Glandorf to marry him. However, Colt popped the question in a big Texas way! Football is huge in the Lone Star State and Texans love to watch the University of Texas Longhorns play at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. The Texas Longhorns quarterback proposed to his girlfriend Monday night in true Texas style.

McCoy brought Glandorf to Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and flashed “Will You Marry Me” on the giant scoreboard. When she turned around, McCoy was on his knee to propose. She said yes.

For many Texas fans, it may not come as a surprise that Colt McCoy and Rachel Glandorf are engaged. The couple have been together for much of their college lives. No word yet on if the colors for the wedding will be Burnt Orange and White, the colors of the Texas Longhorns.

McCoy injured his right throwing shoulder in the Longhorns’ 37-21 loss to Alabama in the national championship game last week. The NCAA career leader in victories (45) as a starting quarterback is expected to be considered in April’s NFL draft. There are several NFL teams looking at McCoy.

So who is Rachel Glandorf? She stands 6 feet tall and has blonde hair. She studied at Baylor University and also competed on the school’s track team. Rachel has also worked as a sports reporter for a Texas CBS affiliate.
