Dakota Fanning is in Italy with co-star Jesse Eisenberg to promote their film Night Moves at the Venice Film Festival. The 19-year-old ingenue paraded her pale pins that only Fanning can do in a chic Alexander McQueen belted dress.
The dress featured a double-layered shirt and pockets at the Hotel Excelsior Venice. The Twilight starlet – born Hannah – wore brown Rupert Sanderson pumps and finished off her look with large off-white shades.
Eisenberg was seen wearing a dark grey blazer, grey shirt, and blue skinny jeans.
Fanning dyed her trademark locks dark brown to play Dena Brauer, a wealthy eco-terrorist who finances a plan to bomb a dam.
“It’s really fun when you’re getting dressed for something,” Dakota told Glamour magazine in January.
“It’s not when you’re in the rain with an umbrella and trying to carry a case of water. ‘Yep, that’s me, alone, coming from Duane Reade [the drug store]. I’m not wearing a bra. Deal with it.'”
The former child star has a slew of films coming out this year.
Fanning is the center of a love triangle as the title character in Effie Gray, penned by Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson. The period drama will be released October in the UK. The teen queen and Elizabeth Olsen star in Very Good Girls, the directorial debut of Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s mother Naomi.
The Academy Award-nominated writer’s film is centered on two girls who fall for the same street artist.
Fanning recently wrapped her role in The Last of Robin Hood alongside Susan Sarandon and Kevin Kline.
The Coraline star plays Beverly Aadland, the 15-year-old mistress Errol Flynn dated before dying of a heart attack at 50.
