The English association footballer that currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy officially joined with H & M body wear to launch his men’s collection at the Regent Street HandM in London, England.
However, they chose to launch Beckham’s new black-and-white commercial during Sunday’s Super Bowl spectator. The ad features David doing multiple poses as the song Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood by The Animals played in the background.
The 36-year-old, father of four, showed off his tattoo toned soccer physique in nothing but white H&M underwear. Beckham’s memorable H&M product line, that took him 18 months to develop, is currently available in virtually 2,000 stores.
Other Super Bowl commercials that made a big impression were the Honda CRV and the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. The Honda CRV ad included Matthew Broderick bringing “Ferris Beuller’s Day Off” back. The automaker’s campaign is encouraging consumers to enjoy life.
The memorable 2012 Volkswagen Beetle ad began with a heavy out-of-shape dog who wanted to get into shape, so he can fit through the doggy door and by the end of the commercial, he manages his way outdoors to get that new Beetle.
