Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher celebrated the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur with a camping trip in Santa Barbara, California, amid rumors that she has consulted a divorce lawyer.
The couple – who both follow the teachings of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) – spent the holy day, which is known as the Day of Atonement and started at sunset on October 7 this year, at a campsite in Santa Barbara, California with some friends although onlookers revealed Demi was unhappy when a fellow camper tried to take their picture.
The source told RadarOnline: “Demi was screaming ‘Please don’t take photos of me or my family. Please don’t expose this.’ Once she knew she had been photographed, she whistled at Ashton and gestured for him to hurry into the tent.”
Ashton has previously claimed his relationship with Demi has grown “deeper” since they tied the knot in 2005 and said he and his spouse often suggest romantic trips to keep the romance alive in their marriage.
He said: “Our relationship has just grown deeper and more interesting. We love each other and we love the journey we’re taking together and that’s not a cliche. We are both actively engaged in each other’s lives and we both find that it’s so beautiful to be able to appreciate each other in new and different ways. We both see marriage as an active and evolving bond between us.”
“You have to be very serious about communicating your feelings and just expressing yourself and being open to your partner. Demi and I both believe in that kind of philosophy. We also like being romantic and doing special little things for each other, whether it’s coming up with a wild new meal for dinner or suggesting a trip somewhere.”
