Demi Moore’s hospitalization has everything to do with substance abuse and an anorexia issue, according to details from many sources.
Demi Moore was taken to the hospital on Monday evening by ambulance, after a 911 call was made from her home. Her rep has started shooting down the rumors being reported, that it was due to substance abuse and that it is related to stress, either way the circumstance is most likely a result of her crumbled relationship with Ashton Kutcher.
“Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends,” The 49-year-old actresses rep told TMZ.
Moore had been getting ready to play the role of feminist leader Gloria Steinem on the upcoming biopic about Linda Lovelace. But now it appears due to recent events the producers have already replaced her with another actress named Chloe Sevigny for the role a day after Moore was hospitalized.
Moore has had issues with her weight recently saying, “I had an extreme obsession with my body, I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it never lasted and ultimately it didn’t bring me anything but temporary happiness.”
