Demi Moore has decided not to change her Twitter name even though she’s divorcing Ashton Kutcher. Believe it or not, Demi Moore says she doesn’t have enough time right now to change the name. However, sources say she plans to make the switch soon, but that the divorce proceeding might be the reason.
Moore announced last month that the Hollywood couple was splitting but she is still using ‘mrskutcher’ to send her twitter messages.
To those that have had something to say about it, Moore tweeted the following message:
“Changing my Twitter name isn’t a top priority right now. Sorry it bothers so many of u. Should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?”
Many people know how easy it is to change a username on Twitter, which is why they don’t understand keeping it, especially when she already filed for divorce.
It may also bother others who have lost all respect for Kutcher for leading the public and his fans on to believe he never had an affair or cheated on Moore. What a big letdown. We were so duped!
To change a username on Twitter all you have to do is click on the person icon and select ‘Settings’ from the drop down menu. Then change the username listed in your ‘Username field’ on the account settings page. Then save the change.
The change happens immediately and probably takes no more than 10 seconds.
My guess is that there’s another reason why Moore is hanging onto ‘mrskutcher’ and it has everything to do with ‘text messages’ between her and Kutcher, which she might need in the divorce proceeding if he puts up a fight.
