Diddy East Hampton Mansion Intruder Break In

An intruder that broke into Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs mansion in East Hampton on Long Island was apparently just looking for a vacation. No one was occupying the residence at the time 30-year-old Quamine Taylor was arrested on April 1st for the break-in.

Police say that Taylor who lives near New York City in Queens, traveled by train to the Eastern end of Long Island, then took a cab to Diddy’s mansion and entered the home through an unlocked basement door on March 31st. However, upon entering the home he tripped an alarm which alerted the security company who sent authorities out to the residence.

When a police officer and a security company rep showed up, Taylor was able to convince them that Diddy had allowed him to stay at the home, and they left.

So for the next 24 hours Taylor, wore Diddy’s clothes and ate the food and drank the alcohol left in the home, until a caretaker for the property showed up the following day to find Taylor and notified the police again, that he was an intruder.

Police then arrested Taylor for trespassing and petty larceny.

Apparently, Taylor was just looking for some down time away from the hustle and bustle of the city and wanted a vacation as he told the New York Post in a phone interview from jail, “I just wanted to get out of the city for a while, I was actually hoping to stay like 15 to 17 days.”

Taylor has attempted this once before in 2001 when he was caught laying near the pool at Diddy’s mansion, and was successfully able to convince another security guard, he was a cousin of Combs.

It is reported that Taylor, who is currently being held on $2,000 bail, has a history of mental illness.
