Alison Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood, married sculptor Stacy Poitras at Saddlepeak Lodge in Calabasas on Friday.
According to the newlyweds, they chose to have an intimate gathering of family and friends at their nuptials.
“We are thrilled to be surrounded by our family for this very special day and appreciate their love and support as we begin our married life together,” the couple told People.
Their rings were designed by Philip Press, who is known for his platinum jewelry and expertise. The first-time bride wore a 1930s-inspired gown by Les Habitudes.
Poitras announced in December 2012 that he proposed to Eastwood after asking her father for her hand in marriage.
“He looked at me for four or five seconds, which felt like 15 minutes, and then he said, ‘You’re going to have to take that up with her,’” Poistras told Westlake Magazine. “I said, ‘Is that a yes or a no?’ And he said, ‘That’s a yes,” and he shook my hand.”
“He’s my best friend,” Eastwood told Westlake Magazine. “He’s the first man who has been the closest person to me.”
Eastwood followed in her father’s footsteps as a producer, director, and actress. Poitras is a well-known sculptor who is featured in CMT’s reality show Chainsaw Gang.
