Another slip for Hollywood and this time it’s with Emma Stone, who appeared in a beautiful dress this week at the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York City, but most people missed the wardrobe malfunction involving the zipper.
The actress broke the zipper and there seems to be a tear, and it was all caught on camera as Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz evaluated the problem, but had the look of shock at the same time.
However, instead of throwing a fit or demanding a new dress, Emma slipped on a maroon-colored coat to hide the hole for the remainder of the night.
The neutral color matched, and it appeared to be part of the full wardrobe, which looked great.
The dress did prove to be a lot more trouble than it probably was worth. Earlier in the evening, on the steps at the entrance of the Metropolitan Museum, Stone was seen trying to fix something on the front bodice of the dress as actresses Leslie Mann and Rashida Jones attempted to help her.
The show went on, and the after party went great for Stone.
