Harry Potter star Emma Watson is sporting some new ink – a lower back tattoo known as a “tramp stamp,” which appears to be temporary and for her role as a teen burglar in the new Sofia Coppola film “The Bling Ring.” Watson’s red and black tattoo can be seen on her back, as seen in the photo below taken by Us Weekly magazine.
The actress, known best for her role as prim and proper witch Hermione Granger in the “Harry Potter” movies, was recently photographed chilling out on the Los Angeles set of the new flick.
She also wore what appeared to be brunette hair extensions, as well as Daisy Dukes, a black leather jacket and strappy high-heeled sandals.
“The Bling Ring” is based on the true story of a group of celebrity-obsessed teens who broke into the homes of stars like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. The reported burglaries were carried out between September 2008 and August 2009. More than $3 million worth of jewelry, designer clothes and accessories were reported stolen from the houses. None of the stars were inside their houses at the time of the burglaries.
In the movie, the “Bling Ring” members use the web to track down the celebrities’ whereabouts so they can rob their homes while they are away. Watson plays a girl named Nicki, which is not the name of any of the real-life suspects, although her character is supposed to be based on one of them.
