Gary Busey Sued Over Airport Injuries

Gary Busey Sued Airport, Busey is getting sued by a woman who alleges he knocked to the ground at an airport as he was rushing to board a plane. He is accused of getting wasted in the lounge and running to the gate, lowering his shoulder into a woman, and continued as if nothing happened. The 57-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit against the actor for damages in Los Angeles.

Carla Loeffler is claiming she and the actor were waiting for the same flight in Tulsa, Oklahoma. According to her, he had been biding his time downing drinks in the lounge, and by the time boarding for the flight began, he was absolutely faded.

Loeffler claims she was waiting to board the flight when Gary barreled past her like a fullback in an effort to cut in line, violently knocking her to the ground.

She reportedly sustained injuries and is seeking damages as a result of Busey, who was on Two and a Half Men this week as his crazy self, taking her out.

On December 4, 1988, Gary was severely injured in a motorcycle accident in which he was not wearing a helmet. His skull was fractured, and doctors feared he suffered permanent brain damage. At the recommendation of Dr. Drew Pinsky, the actor was seen by psychiatrist Dr. Charles Sophy.

Sophy suspected that Busey’s brain injury has had a greater effect on him than realized. He described it as essentially weakening his mental “filters” and causing him to speak and act impulsively. The psychiatric recommended that he take a medication called Depakote (valproic acid), to which Gary agreed.
