Gold is a precious metal to wear, but rapper Flo Rida has taken things a step further by adding it to his $1.7 million Bugatti Veyron, complete with a shiny chrome job with 24-carat rims.
The car is owned by the rapper, born Tramar Dillard, which came off the factory line pearly white, done out in standard chrome, but later returned to Metro Wrapz expert Bruno Dede to kick his ride up another notch.
With his tricked-out wheels, Flo Rida has undoubtedly set the gold standard for flashy celebrity cars.
It comes although Flo Rida faced financial ruin and the loss of his home late last year over a $1 million tax bill.
However, it seems he was tired of having a finish on his vehicle similar to that favored by 50 Cent and Justin Bieber and went with the gold to take things a step further.
The gold car became a global trend on Twitter and user AutoBant wrote: “I have very little time for Flo-rida’s Gold Veyron. Surely it’s like putting a moustache on the Mona Lisa.”
WrappedWorld says of the vehicle: “This Gold Chrome Wrapped Bugatti belongs to music sensation Flo-Rida. Flo puts all his trust in Bruno to deliver a quality product when it comes to his rides.”
The ostentatiousness of Flo Rida’s freshly pimped car understandably rubbed some people up the wrong way after he purchased the car all despite his money problems.
