Good Day New York co-host Greg Kelly reported back at Fox News last Friday and he could not be happier after being vindicated on all charges against him.

ā€œI’m very appreciative of all the positive support I have received,ā€ he stated as he walked out of Fox 5’s offices.

“I am thankful that the investigation established what I’ve known all along, that I am innocent of the allegations that were waged against me,” he added.

NYDailyNews.com was first to report Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr.’s decision after a meeting in which the accuser and Kelly’s lawyer Andrew Lankler both met individually with chief Martha Bashford, who is in command of the sex crime’s unit where the woman filed the complaint.

“We have determined that the facts established during our investigation do not fit the definitions of sexual assault crimes,” Bashford wrote to Lankler, in a formal letter.

According to New York state law, rape is defined as “sexual intercourse without consent, either due to force, fear or impairment.”

Kelly resumes his role as morning co-host on Channel 5′s “Good Day New York.”
