Heather Locklear’s sister called 911 before she was hospitalized in fear for her life, but released Friday after she was treated in the intensive care unit for an unknown ailment.
On Thursday the Melrose Place actress was drinking alcohol and consuming prescription medication together and her sibling felt that she was in danger, so she called 911.
Police and paramedics arrived at the actress’ Westlake Village home they took her to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, located in southeastern Ventura County. Heather was hospitalized in the medical facilities’ intensive care unit, where she is being clinically evaluated around the clock.
The 50-year-old actress is apparently doing much better and according to her parent’s, who have remained by her side, she is healthy. However, this was not the first time that Locklear was in need of help for her substance abuse.
In March 2008, someone claiming to be Heather’s doctor felt that her life was in danger and called 911. When the paramedics arrived they concluded that the actress was fine, however they felt that the 911 call was genuine. June 24, 2008, the actress checked herself into a hospital for depression and anxiety. She requested that her medications be evaluated so she could receive a proper diagnosis and treatment, her diagnosis was anxiety and depression.
Then, in September 2008, Locklear was arrested by a California Highway Patrol officer for suspicion of DUI after she was seen erratically driving though Santa Barbara.
The talented actress found herself behind bars once again on April 21, 2010, when she was suspected of hitting a no parking sign at 4 AM, debris from her vehicle was found at the scene.
