Howard Stern ‘America’s Got Talent’ Gig Confirmed, Replacing Piers Morgan

Howard Stern has signed on to be a judge on the next edition of NBC’s America’s Got Talent this summer, replacing former judge Piers Morgan. The ‘Shock Jock’ announced the news, that was later confirmed by NBC, on his show, “The Howard Stern Show,” now broadcast by Sirius XM.

Also it was announced that parts of the show would be moved to New York where Stern broadcasts his radio show from.

Howard will be replacing Piers Morgan on the three judge panel after he announced last month he would not be back for another season of the talent show.

The radio talk show host is locked in as a new judge because Morgan has taken over hosting duties on CNN for Larry King Live, which is now called Piers Morgan Tonight and cited that his schedule would be just to full to fulfill both obligations, adding, “Juggling’s harder than it looks.”

Morgan always had an issue with juggling acts that appeared on the talent show.

However, Howard will be attempting the juggling act as he plans on continuing his radio show.

He will be joining judges Howie Mandel and Sharon Osbourne, and the shows host, Nick Cannon. So far, the other judges welcome Howard Stern and look forward to his America’s Got Talent debut.
