Jack Osbourne, son to Ozzy and Sharon, recently confessed to People that he was had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He got the devastating news just two weeks after he became a father.
The English reality star told People that when he found out he was frustrated, angry and concerned about his family. Jack’s fianceé, actress Lisa Stelly, gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Pearl Clementine on April 24, 2012.
“I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?’ ” stated Osbourne. “I’ve got a family, and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.”
Today, Kelly Osbourne turned to Twitter to ask fans to be there for her brother.
“Please support my brother @mrjacko in not only his bravery but honesty!” she wrote. “i love you so much jack and I’m so proud of you!”
In addition, his mother, Sharon Osbourne spoke to Britain’s Hello magazine.
“I keep thinking: ‘What did I do wrong? What did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?’ I feel like it’s somehow my fault,” Sharon tearfully stated to the magazine.
Multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory disease that affects the central nervous system; it can lead to demyelination as well as a broad array of other symptoms.
