Jenelle Evans Gets Arrested Again In Myrtle Beach
Jenelle Evans, star of MTV’s Teen Mom 2, has been arrested in South Carolina after locking her boyfriend out of their home near Myrtle Beach. The 21-year-old pregnant reality star was also booked on charges of disturbing the peace into the Horry County jail just after 5 p.m. Saturday. She was released about an hour later.
Police say they were called Saturday afternoon about a man and a woman yelling outside a North Myrtle Beach home. The reality star’s boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, told police she locked him out of the house.
Evans announced her second pregnancy just weeks ago. Following the arrest, Evans tweeted about the incident.
“Dude u can say what u want,” she wrote. “The cops r soooo annoyed by neighbor constantly calling the cops on our dog and s–t.”
“Went as far as my mom yelling at my neighbors if they don’t stop she will sue them. She did it to sell a story,” Evans continued.
“I’ve been in my house all day long…She even said Nathan was outside yelling at my mom on the phone…Lmfao no he wasn’t,” Evans wrote, disputing the police’s account. “Me and Nathan weren’t fighting she made it all up. Nathan’s voice is loud and he walks around outside to talk on the phone.”
Evans was arrested earlier this year in North Carolina on drug and assault charges. Her lawyer in that case said Sunday he wasn’t representing her on the South Carolina charges, and jail records listed no other attorney for her.
On August 12, 2013, Evans was arrested for drug possession charges. Despite reaching a plea deal to keep her out of jail for her heroin and illegal Percocet possession charges stemming from April 2013, she still found herself in jail after failing a random drug test ordered by the court. She tested positive for marijuana.
Evans has been arrested numerous times for other charges, including fighting, stalking and threats since 2010.
