Jenny McCarthy, who is currently dating Brian Urlacher, will pose for Playboy before her 40th birthdate. McCarthy rose to fame rapidly after her debut and was named Playmate of the Month in October and then, Playmate of the Year in 1993.
She quickly moved on to television and was recruited by MTV to host the popular 1990s dating show Singled Out.
Unfortunately, she didn’t go very far in television or film and decided to start a family.
She married and gave birth to a son Evan in 2002, later revealing in 2005 that the boy had been diagnosed with autism. This revelation led to a rather public and still ongoing controversy that the model helped publicized and became widely associated with, pertaining to a now-discredited theory about vaccines and autism.
However, after years of activism, McCarthy is going back to her roots, posing for Hefner’s mag in the July 2012 edition of Playboy.
She expressed interest in posing again, but didn’t seem to believe another stint as a Playmate was in the cards for her- she said:
“I would absolutely pose for Playboy. I would be so flattered if they asked me. It’s probably not going to happen but I think I want to do it again.”
McCarthy’s upcoming appearance will likely hit newsstands in June.
