Jersey Shore is back in the swing of things and so are the salaries for this MTV cast. The show is in its sixth and final season, and the income is very lucrative because it keeps going up each year, except for newcomer Deena Cortese.
For example, salaries for Snooki, Pauly D, and Mike “The Situation” are estimated to be $150K per Jersey Shore episode, and since each season has about 12 of those, the total earnings come out to $1.8 million per season. But that’s not all. They also receive a $400,000 bonus at the start and an $200,000 at the end of each season.
It doesn’t stop there because the earnings keep coming in. Each of the them receive $150,000 just for showing up for their Jersey Shore reunion specials.
Overall, the three big cast members bring in $2.55 million just to film a full season (including bonuses) of their MTV reality show.
The other cast members, such as co-star Jennie “JWoww” Farley, is on a slightly lower pay grade, receiving $100,000 per episode as well as bonuses for the reunion show.
Vinny Guadagnino reportedly takes home $90,000 per episode, while Ronnie Magro and Sammi Sweetheart receive $80,000 each.
Deena Cortese, who was recently arrested for the very same drunken behavior that the cast is glorified for, is paid $40,000 per episode, although reports suggest that this figure is growing.
Critics argue that the cast has “no talent” whatsoever, yet they earn an incredible amount of money because viewers on MTV find the group entertaining to watch.
