John Goodman weight loss diet really worked. The loss of weight with diet and exercise has helped John Goodman lose more than 100 pounds, and he feels great. The slimmer John Goodman recently showed off a black tie and suit which revealed the amount of weight loss from dieting.
Goodman, 58, attended the AFI Life Achievement Award for director Mike Nichols. The “Rosanne” actor lost the 100 pounds of weight, and he did it the old fashioned way. He simply changed his diet, watched what he ate, exercised, and the weight came off.
John Goodman is best known for his role as working class husband and father Dan Conner on the television series Roseanne. He acted as Roseanne’s usually comedic husband from 1988 to 1997. The show was based on an Illinois family who struggled to pay bills and raise their family but did it while keeping their sense of humor about life.
Additionally, he has been in many movie roles beginning with “Eddie Macon’s Run.” He is set to play the role of Pozzo in a Studio 54 revival of the play “Waiting for Godot,” opposite Bill Irwin and Nathan Lane. He currently appears in HBO’s, “Treme,” which is set in post-Katrina New Orleans. Goodman plays a character named Creighton Bernette, who is a disgruntled English professor at a local college who tries to expose the government’s role in failing to prevent much of the disaster resulting from the storm.
